On December 24, 2011,to spend our Christmas vacation ,me and my family went to Boracay. We went to Boracay for four days. (December 24- December 27,2011)
On the first day (December 24) we traveled to Boracay at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. We were very excited to go to Boracay so we woke up very early.
After checking in the airport, we ate at noodle express. Their food is really good. We ate some noodles ,adobo and soup.
In a while ,after eating, we went to the boarding gates to get in the bus to ride the plane. We rode the Cebu pacific air plane. I enjoyed riding on the plane because I could see the buildings clearly when we flew up. It was full of Christmas lights very colorful and bright.
When we reached the airport of Boracay, we got our bags and rode on the van taking us to the boat to go to Boracay island. When we reached the other island, we rode on a tricycle to take us to our hotel.(our hotel’s name is La Carmela de Boracay). It was very beautiful with a swimming pool at the front desk and a garden that was very colorful with a lot of plants and rocks and a Christmas tree. And the best part was that there was a beach at the front of it.
We ate lunch at Smoke. They have Filipino food like sinigang and pancit. You can also pick fish or meat to be with your sinigang.
Then we swam and swam until we were tired. There were also big waves that can move you.
When we were tired, we ate burgers at Jammers. There are a lot of choices like cheese burger or big bun with meatballs or giant monster burgers and a lot of cold drinks to cool you of. Then after eating at Jammers, we went to our hotel to wash our feet and swim at the hotel pool. I had a lot of fun swimming with my family.
We also tried an ice cream named aria Gelato. there are a lot of flavors to choose from like cookies and cream, pistachio, calamansi, caramel, vanilla and many more.
Then we ate dinner at Shakey’s. We ate pasta, chicken, mojos and pizza. Lemonade was our drinks and it tastes so good .You need to try it!
THE NEXT DAY…..
When we woke up,we ate pizza and chicken from last night's Shakey's. We changed our clothes and went to the beach. Now on this day we have some activities (more than the other days) like island hopping and snorkling. I enjoyed it a lot because we get to ride on the boat and swim while snorkling. It was very fun because it was near the boat and we can see corals but we did not go very deep because we needed to wear life vests. we also saw a lot of different places like Manny Paquiao's rest home and the Shangrila hotel. But sadly we cannot see other sights because it was lunch time and the waves are very strong so we needed to leave earlier than expected.
